creativity is intelligence having fun. Our Interns, with special permission from the district administration, organised Summer Hobby Classes. These classes were about activities as varied as art, crafts, singing, dance, yoga, mehndi, rangoli, music, play and reuse of old items. The format was closer to play, than classes to keep the fun quotient high. In addition to learning how to do new things, it is expected to yield long term dividends such as increased confidence, dedication towards their work, concentration etc.
ICAREINDIA, a social non-government organization has been officially running a programme ANKURAM, since July 2015, aimed at transforming government primary schools by involving local community and youth with active support from school teachers and local district administration.
