About icareindia

ICAREINDIA, a social non-government organization has been officially running a programme ANKURAM, since July 2015, aimed at transforming government primary schools by involving local community and youth with active support from school teachers and local district administration. State of affairs at these schools is well known and has been a matter of concern. Our intervention is benefitting approximately fifteen thousand children studying in more than hundred such schools.
The programme has created a very positive impact on all the stakeholders, viz., the local community, the panchayat, the school, the parents, the youth and the students and has set in a desire for change, a vital component for any transformation. In year 2014, starting with just one Government Primary School (inter-generational learning centre) it has now taken a shape of a mission within a short span of time scaling up to more than 100 such learning centres in three districts, covering about fifteen thousand disadvantaged children.

We are trying to contribute to the cause, without financial support from the State and Central Government. Support from state/district functionaries and all sections of the society viz. corporate sector, civil society organisations, media, college faculties, school teachers, local community, youth will continue to strengthen our mission in coming years.

I CARE INDIA is working on three verticals as scalable and sustainable holistic economical model of social development:

Our Mission

Holistic development of disadvantaged children by means of quality learning and imbibing values community engagement and channelizing youth power.

Our Vision

Through an integrated model of development icareindia aims to bring quality learning to disadvantaged children and empower them to stand at par with the main stream society.
